Consultants Collaborative Partnership (CCP) is proud to partner with the Down Syndrome Foundation of Nigeria (DSFN) to establish a permanent site in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. This initiative builds on CCP’s long-standing support for DSFN, which advocates for individuals with Down syndrome in Nigeria.
The DSFN has been a beacon of hope for the Down syndrome community. In a country where awareness and understanding of Down syndrome are still developing, the DSFN’s work is vital. They strive to create a society that is inclusive and supportive, addressing the significant gaps in education, healthcare, acceptance, and social integration for individuals with Down syndrome.
By significantly contributing to the purchase of the new site many years ago, CCP has actively demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity. The facility will serve as a hub for education, training, and community engagement, enhancing DSFN’s programs such as vocational training, early intervention, and awareness campaigns.
CCP recognizes the unique challenges faced by families in the Down syndrome community, including societal stigma and limited resources. This partnership aims to break down these barriers and foster a better understanding of Down syndrome within the community.
